Finally Made It

August 31, 2009

I finally made it up to TUBS on 50th and Roosevelt, one of the Free Sheep Foundation’s coolest projects. Unfortunately after only photographing one wall of the building, my cameras battery ran out. Below are the pictures of the South wall and pictures of the rest of the building will be coming shortly. Enjoy!

Pooh Bear

August 29, 2009

A lot of bear stickers around Seattle. I’v seen lots of Narboo’s Polar Bear stickers but I think the Priority Mail bear stickers are a new thing.

Animated

August 27, 2009

A cool group of stickers. I didn’t realize that the tree was done by the Bad Fruit artist until I was posting this but I like it.

When life gives you lemons…

August 26, 2009

Some drawings done on a group of posters downtown. Not the most sophisticated art, but I like them.

Mosaic

August 25, 2009

Pictures from Queen Anne and Capitol Hill all relating to animals. I really like the pandas cause from far away its kind of hard to tell what they are but when you get closer they look pretty sweet.

Kicking Clouds

August 19, 2009

These are all pictures from a while ago on Queen Anne. There used to be a lot of these cloud stickers but now almost all of them have been torn up or taken down. Also Spacecraft baby.

Boardwalk

August 18, 2009

Some sort of board illustration about cell phone gestures in between Capitol Hill and South Lake Union on Denny. Don’t know if this is really street art, a public service announcement or something completely different, but it stood out to me while I was walking.

Juicebox

August 17, 2009

As I was bussing around yesterday this sweet bear caught my  eye. These are done by Karl Addison of Partybots. I love the positioning of this and how it is facing out towards the street. Also some cool stickers on a newspaper box including that face which I have seen a lot, especially in the lower Queen Anne area.

Glistening Smiles

August 17, 2009

More pictures from the lot at 1st and Battery in Belltown. The lot has been painted on by many artists and the walls are completely covered in stencils and other types of very cool art.

New Tricks

August 15, 2009

These are some pictures from around Seattle. My favorite is definitely the two-headed Baldman sticker by Pioneer Square. It’s the first and so far only two-headed one I’ve seen but I like it a lot. Also I recently found out that the artist who does all of the cool old people and skulls is Team Nerd. If you want to see more pictures of Team Nerd’s art click here.

Masterpiece Edition

August 14, 2009

These awesome (stenciled?) flies have been installed all over and around a parking lot at 1st and Battery in Belltown. I’m not sure who the artist is yet. Work by No Touching Ground and numerous other artists was also displayed in the parking lot and pictures will be up soon.

*UPDATE*

The artist is actually Gurldogg. Thanks +Russ.

I saw one of Gurldogg’s hornets in Georgetown a while ago, if you would like to see that click here.
